�The multinational state� it is necessary to recognise the term as the
extremely unsuccessful, both with scientific, and from the political point
of view as it regularly makes an ambiguity based on mixture of concepts
"nation" and "nationality". "Nation", in base value of the term, is a
political status of the people possessing statehood. In this case, the
word-combination �the multinational state� looks as the shocking
contradiction in terms.� Nationality �- a synonym of a word ethnos, a
nationality. Russia, plurality of the radical people living in it is the
fact which nobody calls in question. However from a recognition of this fact
in any way does not follow that ethnic proportions on which it is based
Russian the state, can be established rather any way (on what obviously or
implicitly insist supporters of a migratory openness to the active countries
of the south). On the contrary, an actual condition of existence of the
state is unconditional numerical prevalence in it of Russian ethnic kernel.
The validity of this position proves to be true two-multiple experience of
disintegration of the Russian state in the beginning and in the end of the
XX-th century.
